BALL MEASURES as part of Civic Bodies was supported by LASALLE College of the Arts through a Choreographic Residency that featured 5 independent choreographers.

While BALL MEASURES was featured as 1 of 5 parts in a film, the creation methodology and processes revisited concepts from previous iterations. Most importantly, the work was developed with the 2021 Summer Olympics concurrently happening in the background. While revisiting ideas of Practice, Precision, Labour and Exhaustion, the work was able to include notions of the Singapore Foreign Sports Talent Scheme debate that resurfaced in tandem with the Olympics. Civic Bodies was presented as part of Esplanade da:ns Festival 2021.
