Seeing Through The Corridor

This full-length work is a collection of stories revolving around the corridor inspired by actual events that the artistic team has experienced. They are all connected by various similarities and differences that are tight together lightly by a thin thread. You have the ten year old conducting a flea market, the fourteen year old who skipped school and spent the afternoon lying on the corridor, the old lady withthe evil daughter-in-law, the chicken that ran away and even the cheeky brother sister duo water bombing the whole corridor.

Complimented by a set designed by Gene Tan, the work brings together a myriad of characters that addresses the memories formed along an empty space.

The nature of the work might seem like a probable version of a film, however it explores the memories of the artists and translate their emotions and recollections into movements. Solos and duets are configured around the set to replicate scenes from the stories.
